Pantech Breakout arrives in stores

It was only recently that Pantech Breakout got leaked in pictures along with an FCC visit. Now, the phone has started arriving in stores and one of them also leaked a few unboxing pictures. Breakout, as suggested by the leaked specifications, would be a mid-range 4G LTE device for Verizon.

Pantech Breakout is a single core 1GHz processor phone with a 4″ 800 x 480 resolution display. Its USP is the ability to tether upto 10 devices at a time. A Pantech UI built over Gingerbread may be disapproved by many Android fans. A 5MP rear snapper is good enough to provide decent pictures, while one would have to make-do with a VGA camera for video calling. The 390MP internal storage is expendable upto 32GB with SD card support and it comes preloaded with an 8GB card. Expected to go on sale on September 22nd, the phone’s price is not yet official. For the specs, this isn’t going to be too heavy on one’s pocket. More updates soon.
