HTC Lead first appeared in a leaked image and looked like a larger version of any other HTC phone out there. Now, the guys at PocketNow have managed to get some info on the internals of this device via a leaked ROM. The phone boast of some upscale features like Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a 4.3″ WVGA display and 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor with 768MB of RAM. It also incorporates HSPA+ and LTE capability allowing data speeds of upto 21.1Mbps. Other specs include a 5MP camera along with Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi connectivity. The leaked specs also suggests that HTC Lead would not have a front-facing camera, which seems less likely for a LTE phone and might be added in the official announcement.
Another LTE device called HTC Holiday would also be released on AT&T soon. HTC Holiday also has the typical bar form factor. It would have a larger screen of 4.5″ with qHD resolution with 1GB RAM. The phone features a 1.3MP front and an 8MP rear camera 1080p video recording capable.
Both the phones are awaiting official announcement. The pricing and availability details are unknown for now.
