Toshiba launches three new Android tablets

Toshiba has announced the introduction of three new tablets under the umbrella of its Excite series of Android tablets. Although Toshiba is offering three different variants, the tablets differ only in terms of size and pack similar specs inside. Powered by quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processors, the tablets would feature high definition scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, dual cameras 5MP rear and 2MP front, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and expandable memory. Toshiba would offer a 7.7″ model, a 10.1″ model and a 13.3″ model. Read more

Samsung announces Galaxy Note 10.1

The most speculated device of the MWC 2012 is now official. Samsung on Monday took covers off the larger version of its popular Galaxy Note, dubbed the Galaxy Note 10.1. While the Galaxy Note fetched huge attention for the debate of weather its a tablet or a smartphone, its successor joins the tablet family is a sure bet. And for those who thought the Galaxy Note was smaller for using the S-Pen to write/draw, the Note 10.1 comes with S-Pen support and a larger screen. Read more

Samsung Galaxy S III specs revealed

Sammy passed up the opportunity to launch the Galaxy S III at MWC 2012. Although it surprised a few, internal sources reported that the Samsung wants to launch the device in an all exclusive Galaxy S III event. Also, Samsung is reported to be working on launching its flagship device at 50 locations across the world simultaneously and needs to bridge the gap between announcement and launch of the phone.

Galaxy Note with AT&T branding leaked in pictures

Sammy has already confirmed that it would be launching the Galaxy Note in the US soon. Weather the US version would undergo any hardware changes was not known though, until now. Read more

LG’s first Android ICS phone leaks

Meet Optimus U1, LG’s unannounced phone expected to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Not much of is known of the phone except the leaked pictures above and the speculation that this would be the first LG phone to run Android ICS. From the pictures, it looks like a slim phone resembling LG Optimus Black. An 8MP camera with LED Flash can be seen on the back coupled with a front camera.

LG Optimus U1 would not launch before the onset of 2012 which means there is enough time for more details to surface before LG officially announces this device.

Samsung Nexus Prime final specs unveiled, launch event delayed

While Samsung might be happy comparing iPhone 4S with Galaxy S II, its real big announcement is yet awaited, infact delayed. Samsung and Google were supposed to release the Ice Cream Sandwich phone at CTIA Enterprise & Applications show in San Diego on Oct. 11.
