Pantech Breakout arrives in stores

It was only recently that Pantech Breakout got leaked in pictures along with an FCC visit. Now, the phone has started arriving in stores and one of them also leaked a few unboxing pictures. Breakout, as suggested by the leaked specifications, would be a mid-range 4G LTE device for Verizon.

Pantech Breakout is a single core 1GHz processor phone with a 4″ 800 x 480 resolution display. Its USP is the ability to tether upto 10 devices at a time. A Pantech UI built over Gingerbread may be disapproved by many Android fans. A 5MP rear snapper is good enough to provide decent pictures, while one would have to make-do with a VGA camera for video calling. The 390MP internal storage is expendable upto 32GB with SD card support and it comes preloaded with an 8GB card. Expected to go on sale on September 22nd, the phone’s price is not yet official. For the specs, this isn’t going to be too heavy on one’s pocket. More updates soon.

HTC Vigor full of pep and fight leaks in pictures

The next big LTE super smartphone just got leaked in pictures. In all its ‘Vigor’ and Vim, this Verizon based HTC device would be the next big thing following Motorola Droid Bionic, with an October 6th launch date.

HTC Vigor pictures leaked by Droid-life, show that the device has a massive screen, rumored to be 4.3″. A front facing camera is visible just above the screen, and the big lens on the back is accompanied by dual-flash. The rubbery back says that it comes with HTC Sense, which is obvious. We aren’t surprised to see no Verizon or LTE branding on either sides, as this could very well be a test device. From the Droid-ish look and color scheme and with a rumored high-resolution screen, HTC Vigor could very well be the Incredible HD.

The rumored specs of HTC Vigor say that it would be operating in the power of a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. The 4G LTE enabled device would sport a massive 4.3″ screen with 720p resolution. It would run on Android 2.3.4. The internal storage would be 16GB. Also, HTC Vigor would be the first to feature Beats by Dr. Dre technology.

Samsung 4G LTE slider running Android 2.3.4 leaked

Pics of what seems to be a Samsung slider running Android have been leaked by a ‘reliable’ tipster, through Android Central. From the pics, it looks like a 4G LTE slider headed to the big red bandwagon. One of the pictures also claim that it runs Android 2.3.4, which no doubt would be the firmware version of all Android releases of near future.

Other leaked specs include 5 MP rear and 1.3 MP front snapper and Super AMOLED Plus snapper. If these specs are to be believed then the slider in pictures is definitely not the Verizon version of Galaxy S II. The specs point towards a mid-range LTE phone that might see its release before the biggie Droid Bionic.
